Professor Katsutoshi Hori Visits Kurita Water Industries Asia R&D Center Singapore

On 9 January 2025, Professor Katsutoshi Hori from the Department of Biomolecular Engineering at Nagoya University, founder and chairman of Friend Microbe inc., visited the Asia Research and Development Center of Kurita Water Industries.

In October 2024, Nagoya University showcased its innovative technologies at the TECH INNOVATION 2024 event. Professor Hori's innovation was one of the three highlighted by the university. His research presentation focused on “Oily Wastewater Treatment Technology using High-Performance Oil-Degrading Microorganisms” which prompted this visit.
